The opening reception for "Cross Roads" by Berta A. Daniels will be held Thursday, Oct. 11, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., at the Post Road Art Center in Marlborough. A native of the Boston area, Daniels attended the Art Institute of Boston, majoring in Photography and Sculpture. Her fine art photography has been described as "theatrical, painterly, spiritually transformational and richly provocative." In exploration of the inner and outer worlds, she "encourages her subjects to open themselves to personal transformation through acute connection with the land." View the show during regular gallery hours Mondays through Saturdays, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., through Nov. 1. Boston Post Road Art Center is located at 1 Boston Post Rd. East, Marlborough, and can be visited at www.postroadartcenter. com
