Avidia Bank announces new loan officers

Mark R. O'Connell, president and CEO of Avidia Bank, recently announced the addition of two new commercial bankers, Andrew Zelman and Scot Rielly, who were named vice presidents and commercial relationship officers. Zelman has nearly 20 years of experience in commercial lending and business development for organizations in the Central Massachusetts region. Rielly has nearly 30 years of experience in portfolio management, commercial lending and business development for national and local commercial finance companies. Jazzercise open house April 28

May is National Fitness Month and Jazzercise is holding an open house Monday, April 28 through Monday, May 5 to help everyone get a jump start on the summer. Marlborough Hospital announces new team members

John Polanowicz, president and CEO of Marlborough Hospital, has announced the newest management team members to join the hospital staff: Jeffrey P. Dion, Christine E. Cournoyer, RN and Mary Ann Stein. Dion has been named Chief Financial Officer, Cournoyer was promoted to Clinical Nurse Manager for the Intensive Care Unit and Stein has joined as Volunteer Coordinator.

Boxwell's birthday party

Boxwell's Home Décor, Gifts and More is gearing up for its fifth birthday party Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 2-4. In addition to the annual storewide sale and sidewalk clearance event, the event will also feature a "Red Carpet" area for higher priced décor and gift and jewelry items at clearance prices. Life Line stroke, osteoporosis screenings

Residents living in and around the Hudson and Marlborough communities can be screened to reduce their risk of having a stroke. Life Line Screening will be at the Girls and Boys Clubs of MetroWest, 21 Church St., Hudson April 30 and at the Masonic Building, 208 Main St., Marlborough May 2. World famous balloon comes to Westborough

To celebrate the Westborough Spring Festival, Re/Max First Choice Real Estate is offering balloon rides in the world famous Re/Max hot air balloon. Rides will be given for a donation Sunday, April 27, weather permitting, from 8-10 a.m. All proceeds will benefit the Children's Miracle Network. The Re/Max balloon will be located at the Westborough High School field, 90 West Main St.

Westborough Spring Festival April 26, 27

Westborough is celebrating its annual Spring Festival Saturday and Sunday, April 26 and 27. Saturday's events include the WCC Fishing Challenge and WCLT Nature Craft from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sandra Pond and the Lion's Club Italian Dinner from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Westborough High School café. Sunday features the 5K road race, Tufts' 2nd annual Dog Dash, the 39th Scholarship Brunch, the 4th annual Food Festival, the 2nd annual Bake Off, the 5th annual Classic Car Show, Tufts' 3rd annual Dog show and Tufts' 2nd annual Dog Spa.
