City enjoys first ‘Taste of Downtown Marlborough’

Marlborough – During the first "Taste of Downtown Marlborough" June 23, (l to r) Michael Manning, with Green Marlborough, an organization for energy and the environment, receives a piece of pineapple pizza from Frank Azzariti, the owner of Pizzanini at 132 Main St., while Kaitlin Manning and her sister Jennifer get ready to enjoy pepperoni and cheese pizza, respectively.

The event created lots of activity on Main Street even though the weather didn't cooperate. Sponsored by Olde Marlborough Inc. and the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce, participants got to sample a wide range of delicious foods from establishments all along Main Street.
