Spectrum to host Golf Classic

Westborough – Spectrum Health Systems Inc. has announced that its seventh annual Golf Classic will be held Monday Oct. 6. The charity event will be held at Kettle Brook Golf Club in Paxton, proceeds to benefit Spectrum's Substance Abuse Treatment services and the expansion of Women and Children's Center in Westborough.

Kevin Giblin of Brendon Properties is chairing the event.

"I am grateful to the golfers and sponsors who return year after year to support the event, and I invite new attendees to join our eff ort," Giblin said.

Spectrum seeks 144 golfers to participate in this year's tournament. For more information or to register, contact Francoise Elise at 508-792-5400, ext. 7113. Registration deadline is Friday Sept. 26.

This year's guest personality at the event will be Mike Nikitas, NECN Morning and Mid-Day News anchor and host of "This Week in Business."

Incorporated in 1969, Spectrum currently serves 18,000 men, women and atrisk youth annually.
