Library to have Sunday hours through March

Shrewsbury – With donations received to date, sponsors have assured that the Shrewsbury Public Library will be open Sunday afternoons from 1 to 5 p.m. through mid-March 2009.

Current sponsors include: Shrewsbury Federal Credit Union, Central One Federal Credit Union, Webster Five Cents Savings Bank, Shrewsbury Firefighters' Association, Polito Development Corp., Ruth and Philip Heywood, Gerald Isaacson, Brian Smith/Spectros Associates, Lilliput Early Childhood Center, Jeffrey and Priscilla Billingham, Zuromskis-Whitney Associates Realtors, Yu-Bin Liang and Wei Kong Yeoh, Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library, the Welcome Wagon Club of Shrewsbury, David and Johanna Musselman, Amica Insurance Co., the Rotary Club of Shrewsbury, and two anonymous donors.

There are still sponsorship slots available to help maintain the full season through May 2008. Interested parties can contact Library Director Ellen Dolan at 508-841- 8537.
