School fund-raiser brings in $9,000

Shrewsbury – (l to r) School Committee member Mark Murray, Board of Selectmen Moe DePalo, Selectman Moira Miller, Selectman John Lebeaux and Selectman Jim Kane enjoy themselves at the "Celebration in the Garden" June 13 at the "Fallon House," home of Heather and Jason Logrippo, in Shrewsbury. According to the organizing committee, $9,000 was raised for the Shrewsbury Public Schools to help fill the gaps left by cuts to textbook and instructional material budgets.
