Epicurean Room open for the school year

Marlborough – The Epicurean Room at Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School is now open for the 2009-2010 season, featuring lots new recipes. Chef Cliff Giovannucci, lead instructor in the Culinary Arts/Chef Training program at the school, has invited everyone in the community to try the new menu.

“Our culinary instructors have been trying out new recipes all summer looking for some new and unique dishes for your dining delight,” Giovannucci said. “The public is urged to come have lunch or hold a business meeting here in our lovely, full-service restaurant. They won’t be disappointed.”

Patrons should watch for the pastry cases that often appear on Thursdays and Fridays as well, and plan to take some treats home.

The restaurant is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with an “All You Can Eat” buff et Thursdays for only $8.50, which includes beverage, dessert and tax. Reservations are suggested, particularly on Thursdays, and can be made by calling 508-485-9430, ext. 1119.
