Dorothy M. Boisvert, 81

Franklin – Dorothy M. Boisvert, 81, formerly of Westborough, died Tuesday Jan. 19, 2010, at the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Boisvert. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Philip A. Taylor Sr.

She is survived by her four daughters, Beverly Hart and her husband, Edward; Patty Nixon and her husband, Joe; Donna DeCollibus and her companion, Cesar Costa; and Gail Clark and her husband, Allan. She also leaves two brothers, Ricky Souza and Billy Souza; one sister, Gail Souza; nine grandchildren; and five greatgrandchildren. She was the mother of the late Philip A. Taylor Jr., grandmother of the late Philip A. Taylor III and greatgrandmother of the late Hunter May.

Born in Dartmouth, the daughter of the late William and Mary Souza, she was educated in Cambridge schools. She had been a resident of Westborough for many years and was a former communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church of Westborough.

Mrs. Boisvert worked as a nurse’s aide at the Cushing Hospital in Framingham prior to her retirement. She enjoyed raising her five children in addition to knitting, crocheting, quilting, sewing, painting, traveling, fishing and golfing. She also enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves many friends at the Franklin Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and her family wishes to thank everyone there for their kindness and care over the years spent with her.

Her funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 28 from St. Luke the Evangelist Church, with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. The Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1834, Merrifield, VA 22116-8034 or to a charity of one’s choice.
