2nd Annual CSF Scholar Bowl Super Bowl Square Fund-raiser
Marlborough – Citizens Scholarship Foundation (CSF) of Marlborough, in conjunction with the Westender Restaurant, is once again conducting its Scholar Bowl Super Bowl Square Fundraiser. The fund-raiser sells 100 Super Bowl squares, with each square selling for $100. 50 percent of the proceeds are directed to the CSF General Scholarship Fund and the remaining 50 percent is distributed to the participants who pick winning squares.
There are five $1,000 winning opportunities. At the end of each quarter, the square with the winning numbers will be rewarded $1,000 and a fifth and final $1,000 prize will be awarded to the holder of the final score square.
Depending on the outcome of the game, it is possible for one individual to potentially win the entire $5,000 pool.
The Westender Restaurant, 493 Boston Post Rd., Marlborough, will be hosting this year’s Scholar Bowl Saturday, Jan. 29 from 7 to 11 p.m.
The Super Bowl squares are on sale online. Go to www.superbowlsquares.org/z9vuv User Name: CSF2011 Password: MARLBORO (User Name and Password are all caps). Squares can also be purchased through any CSF member or you can request a square via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Numbers will be randomly picked by the computer generated website Saturday, Feb. 5 and each participant will be e-mailed their numbers with a copy of the sold-out squares and their respective numbers.
All squares must be paid for prior to noon Friday, Feb. 4. All unpaid squares will be re-offered to the public for sale until 5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5.
