Westborough – The Westborough Friends of Facing History and Ourselves Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of this year's scholarships. They are Sarah Hart and Patrick Bryant. Hart and Bryant each received a $1,000 scholarship. Hart will attend the University of Notre Dame and Bryant will attend Emmanuel College.
The Foundation supports the Facing History and Ourselves curriculum currently taught at Westborough High School. The course uses historical case studies, like the Holocaust, to show students how human behavior plays a critical role in shaping history. The students learn that the choices they make can create positive change and that they can make a difference.
