Shrewsbury Parks & Rec online fall registration begins Sept. 8

Shrewsbury – Shrewsbury Parks & Recreation fall 2011 registration opens online Thursday, Sept. 8 at 7 a.m. Shrewsbury residents should log into their household account prior to registration to make sure household information is up to date and children's grades are listed with their current grade in the fall.

The fall brochure is now available online and can be viewed at http://www.shrewsbury-ma.gov/egov/docs/1314033969_601623.pdf. For a list of programs on Shrewsbury Parks & Recreation's registration web site, visit https://regrec.shrewsbury-ma.gov.

Also, online registration is now being accepted for Flag Football & Tiny Tykes Football. Flag Football is a fun recreational activity which helps develop skills and allow children to learn the game of football. Children in grades 2 to 4 will play games at 9 a.m. and those in grades 5 to 8 play at 10:30 a.m. Tiny Tykes football will be held from noon to 12:45 p.m. The programs start Sept. 10 and run for five consecutive Saturdays, with games played at Coolidge School Field.
