Frank H. Tetreault, 86

Westborough – Frank H. Tetreault, 86, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011 at the Westborough Healthcare Center. He was predeceased by his former wife, Betty Tetreault.

Born in Westborough, he was the son of the late Frederick and Ernestine (Dugrenier) Tetreault. He graduated from Westborough High School, where he was an outstanding athlete and later played semi-pro sports. He had been a resident of the Westborough and Northborough area all of his life.

Mr. Tetreault was employed by Bay State Abrasives for 42 years. He was a 30-year member of the Northborough Baseball Association, holding positions from coach to president. He was a Friend of Bill W. for over 40 years and sponsored many others. He enjoyed nature and frequent trips to the coast of Maine with his friend, Joanne Wallace.

He is survived by his five children, Frank Tetreault Jr. of Arlington, Va., Janice Ferenchick, Shirley Tetreault, Kevin Tetreault, all of Northborough, and Keith Tetreault of Hubbardston; 13 grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by five brothers and two sisters.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 3, at 10:30 a.m., in the St. Luke the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, Oct. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Britton-Summers Funeral Home, 4 Church St., Westborough.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Luke the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church Memorial Fund, 70 West Main St., Westborough, MA 01581.
