MetroWest Humane Society holds Adopt-A-Less-Adoptable-Pet Week Oct. 1-9

Ashland – Visit the MetroWest Humane Society shelter during its Adopt A Less Adoptable Pet week Saturday, Oct. 1 through Sunday, Oct. 9. The special “I Need You” adoption week seeks to urge people to adopt pets who may seem unadoptable simply because of the way they look, their age, or because they have a medical condition such as FIV or diabetes. Come and see for yourself what makes these special cats great.

Adoption hours are Wednesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, from 12 to 4 p.m. All adoptions will still be subject to an approved adoption application; please bring proof of home ownership or a lease stating you can have pets and vaccination records for your current pets.

The adoption fee will be waived for the selected extra-special cats.

MWHS is a volunteer-led, non-profit, no-kill shelter dependent on charitable donations. The shelter address is 30 Pond St., Ashland, and its mailing address is P.O. Box 1068, Framingham, MA 01701.
