Shrewsbury officials offer caution for trick or treating

Shrewsbury – The Board of Selectmen have sent out this advisory to residents -

The Town of Shrewsbury does not have a policy on Halloween and has always  left the decision whether to trick or treat to the discretion of parents and/or  guardians. It is in that spirit that we ask you to use caution in deciding if children should trick or treat this evening keeping in mind the safety of  sidewalks and roads that may still contain snow and debris from the weekend storm.

We wish for everyone to have a safe, happy Halloween.
