Trick or treating postponed in Northborough, Southborough

Northborough/Southborough – Due to the damage and power outages caused by Saturday's nor’easter, the towns of Northborough and Southborough has postponed Halloween trick or treating.

Northborough will hold its trick or treating Friday, Nov. 4, while Southborough will hold trick or treating Saturday, Nov. 5.

  1. I know it is sad not to trick-or-treat on Halloween, but this is a great decision. There are still power lines cut and in people’s driveways – that is not safe.

    I agree with Melanie. Between the downed branches and the power only coming back on a short while ago – at least in my section of town – it really is for the best that areas towns postpone Halloween until Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
