Westborough Girl Scouts seek donations for transitional assistance

Westborough – A Westborough Girl Scout troop is working to help homeless moms and their infants and toddlers in transitional housing. Many of the families are housed currently in motels without sufficient supplies for the children.

Items currently needed are diapers for girls and boys size 3, 4 and 5; baby wipes, lotion and powder; any brand of baby formula; sippy cups; small toys for toddlers; and infant and toddler socks, hats and coats. In addition, personal care items for the moms, such as shampoo, conditioner and deodorant, are greatly appreciated. Donations may be dropped off at 2 Lee Ann Cir. (bins will be available for drop-offs) Saturday, Nov. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 27.
