Pastry Sunday will be held Jan. 8 at Culinary Underground

Yearning to bake with yeast? Join Chef Liz Sunday, Jan. 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Culinary Underground School for Home Cooks for Pastry Sundays: Wonders of Brioche. Now this is a French pastry classic. Whether baked as a classic domed loaf with a topknot or encasing a garlicky sausage, this dough is a must in every serious baker's collection. Elite faculty cast as newest backup dancer for Jordan Knight.

Elite Academy of Dance's hip hop faculty member Danny Pace will be joining the Jordan Knight tour “Unfinished.” Pace resides in Worcester and travels around the U.S.A. training with the industry's best in hip hop. He teaches hip hop on Thursdays at Elite Academy of Dance and will resume his faculty position after the tour. New hip hop camps and classes will be added for dancers who would like to take advantage of training from Pace. Bancroft School holds Open House Jan. 11

An Open House will be held Wednesday, Jan. 11, starting at 7 p.m., at Bancroft School in Worcester. Bancroft students discover themselves as leaders, learners and global citizens as they develop the skills to succeed in the world's top colleges and beyond. Worcester-based Reliant Medical Group (formerly Fallon Clinic) was recently selected to Harvard Pilgrim Health Care's 10th annual Physician Group Honor Roll for achieving exceptional results in their approach to disease prevention and the treatment of acute and chronic illness. Accepting the award on behalf of the organization is Dr. Michael Kelleher (center), Reliant's Medical Director for Quality and Patient Safety.
