Comedy show to benefit the ARC
Comedian Dave Rattigan

Region – The Second Annual Comedy Night, featuring some of the area's most popular comedians, will be held Friday, Feb. 10, at the Hudson Portuguese Club, 13 Port St., Hudson. The event is being held in support of the Addiction Referral Center (ARC) of Marlborough and features music, dancing, refreshments and raffles.

Kimberly Etheridge, chair of the event, has announced that performers will include Robbie Printz, Dave Rattigan and Chris Zito, the master of ceremonies and host for the evening.

Printz has been seen on Comedy Central, NBC, MTV and A&E. The “Improper Bostonian” named Printz Boston's Best Comedy Act in their Best of Boston 2003 issue. He has performed at comedy clubs across the nation, as well as at colleges and corporate events.

Described as edgy enough to keep comedy fans engaged, but clean enough to work in front of corporate audiences, Rattigan has performed around the northeast United States and in Ireland. His CD, “Dave Rattigan; Thinks He's Funny” has received airplay on XM-Sirius Satellite Radio and on radio stations around the world.

Zito has spent the last 30 years sharing his obsession with his family with comedy fans and radio listeners. He became a regular on the early Boston comedy scene, eventually making appearances on Comedy Central, USA Network, A&E and NESN. He now hosts his own highly rated show on WXLO in Worcester and 103.3 WODS in Boston.
