Endorsement for McKenzie-HebertTo the Editor:

We each strongly support and endorse the candidacy of Mindy McKenzie-Hebert for State Republican Committee Woman in the Second Worcester State Senatorial District. The election takes place in the Republican Presidential Primary on Tuesday March 6th. All registered Republican and all Unenrolled (Independent) voters may vote in the Republican Primary.

We believe the best government is achieved through the healthy discussion and debate that occurs from a balanced political process, not one that is dominated by any singular point of view. Presently the Massachusetts House of Representatives is composed of 128 Democrats and 32 Republicans; the State Senate is composed of 36 Democrats and 4 Republicans.

Mindy possesses numerous qualities that will help bring about that much needed balance: a sharp, insightful mind; boundless energy; respect for her fellow citizens; ability to forge consensus; and a genuine sense of patriotism. Her education (MBA), work history (businesswoman), extensive community experience (church, civic, local government), and family background (proud wife and mother of two) grounds her to that which is important to us all. She is seeking election for the right reason: to help bring about the best possible government for all Massachusetts families.

We urge all Republican and Unenrolled voters in Auburn, Grafton, Leicester, Millbury, Northbridge, Shrewsbury, Upton and Worcester Wards 5-8 to vote for Mindy McKenzie-Hebert in the Republican Presidential Primary on Tuesday March 6th.

It will be a good vote for Massachusetts.

Shrewsbury Selectmen

Maurice DePalo, Henry Fitzgerald, Jim Kane, John Lebeaux and Moira Miller
