Marlborough – Judith E. Derby, 54, died Thursday, March 22, 2012 of medical complications. She was predeceased by her mother, Barbara Towne who died in 1995.
She leaves her father, Frank Towne and wife Jude of Lowell; her sisters, Debbie Towne of Shirley and Pamela and husband Roland Martin of Groton; and her two cats, Spanky and Snooky, who she loved dearly and were her life. She also will be missed by her friends, Liz and Gina, with whom she spent a lot of time.
There will not be any calling hours as that is what she wanted. The family suggests that those who wish to may make memorial donations to either the Sterling Animal Shelter or the World Wildlife Fund/Save the tigers.
