District Attorney issues update on Motel 6 case

Worcester – District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.'s office released the following press release today regarding the arrests of two suspects allegedly connected with the disappearance of a Worcester man from the Motel 6 in Northborough. Who: James Howze, 19, and Lara Cori, 22, arrested in Colonie, N.Y. last week in connection with the disappearance of 19-year-old Joseph Webster of Worcester.

What:  Mr. Howze will be arraigned in Westborough District Court on charges of assault and battery with a deadly weapon (knife) and larceny of a motor vehicle. Ms. Cori, also known as Lara Corey, was indicted this week and will be arraigned in Worcester Superior Court on charges of armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, larceny of motor vehicle and armed assault to murder. Mr. Webster is still missing.

When: Mr. Houze will be arraigned after 9 a.m. Monday April 2 in Westborough District Court; Ms. Cori will be arraigned before 1 p.m. Monday April 2 in Worcester Superior Court.
