Southborough – The Southborough Garden Club has established a scholarship to be awarded to a student who has been accepted to a school of higher learning or is presently attending college in one of the following fields: Arts, and or Sciences related to Horticulture, Floral Design, Environmental Studies, Ecology, Conservation, Agriculture, Botany or Landscape Architecture/Design.
To be eligible, the candidate must be at least a two-year resident of Southborough and demonstrate scholastic achievement and good citizenship. The amount of the award for 2012 is $2,000.
