Marlborough – Firefighters from Marlborough and a number of other communities are still on the scene of a six-alarm blaze at the Lake Williams Condominiums on West Main Street (Route 20). No injuries have been reported at this time.

Firefighters were attempting to quell the flames, which started at approximately 9:30 a.m. on the upper floor of the four-story building, with several ladder trucks. Dozens of responders from adjacent communities were on the scene as well as representatives from the State Fire Marshall's office, the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency and the American Red Cross.

Officials have blocked off Route 20 east and westbound, as well as the road between Broad Street and Route 495.

Further information will be passed along as soon as it becomes available. (Photos/Bonnie Adams)
