Westborough boy finishes second in gymnastics championship

Westborough – Syam Buradagunta, a fourth-grader who attends Mill Pond School in Westborough poses with his mom after finishing second in the New England Regional Championships for Gymnastics.

In addition to finishing second in the all-around competition, he finished first in two events, Floor Exercise and Vault, which makes him the New England Champion in both events.  For his performance, he was also named to the Region 6 (New England) Developmental Team, which is a pre-Olympic training team.
