Shrewsbury – Over 60 of Oak Middle School's most talented students have been hard at work preparing for the debut of one of the most loved productions of all time. “Annie,” originally written by Charles Strousse and Martin Charnin, is based on the popular Harold Gray comic strip, “Little Orphan Annie.” It tells the story of Annie's journey from her days in an orphanage to her travels in the real world attempting to find her parents.

Under the direction of Jennifer Micarelli-Webb and the musical direction of Bryant Clark, the students rehearse four to five days a week and are excited to perform the show at Oak Middle School, Friday, June 1, and Saturday, June 2, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for students and seniors and? $12 for adults and ?will be sold at the door.
