Westborough – Marcia J. Norton, 63, of Westborough, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 26, 2012, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late George F. Norton, who died in 1985.
Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Eleanor (McGee) Mawhinney and was educated in Westborough schools.
Marcia was a self-employed housekeeper in the Westborough area. She was a member of the Rice Memorial Baptist Church in Northborough and had been a lifelong resident of Westborough.
Marcia is survived by her two children, Steven D. Norton and Susan M. Norton, both of Westborough; one sister, Gloria J. Shaw of Westborough; and one brother, Robert Mawhinney of Worcester. The Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home is assisting the family.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14, at 1:00 P.M., in the Rice Memorial Baptist Church, 85 Lincoln St., Northborough. There are no calling hours.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Rice Memorial Baptist Church or to the MSPCA.
