Curtis L. Forbes, 69Hudson – Curtis L. Forbes, 69, of Hudson, formerly of Berlin, died Monday, July 2, 2012 at his residence.

He is survived by his two children, Leah L. Guzman of Worcester and Curt L. Forbes, and his wife, Rebecca of Townsend. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Luis and Nicholas Guzman of Worcester and Victoria and Evan Forbes of Townsend; his two brothers, Scott Forbes of Shrewsbury and Jim Forbes of Worcester; his many nieces and nephews; and his Northborough friends. He was the brother of the late David Forbes of Connecticut and John “Terry” Forbes of Hudson.

Curtis was born in Marlborough, son of the late Franklin and Irene (Bean) Forbes. He was raised and spent most of his life in Berlin. He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force until being honorably discharged in 1963, and had resided in Hudson the past 20-plus years.

He was very artistic and creative, and enjoyed many activities outdoors in his spare time. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Northborough.

Family and friends may attend calling hours Friday, July 6, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
