Marlborough – Marion C. (Supeck) Arcand, 82, formerly of Marlborough, died Friday, July 6, 2012 at Mary Ann Morse Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Natick.
Born in Haverhill, the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Kata)) Supeck, she was the wife of the late Edward P. Arcand, who died in 1995. She was a graduate of Marlborough High School, Class of 1947, and had been employed by Natick Labs as an administrative assistant to the Quartermaster.
Marion, who had a kind and generous nature, was an avid reader, who had traveled extensively with her late husband.
She is survived by her sister, Ann Garavente and her husband, Al, of Southborough; her nieces, Cheryl Garavente of Natick and Sandra Morin and her husband, Paul, of PA; and her cousins, Stanley Supeck of FL and Cape Cod and Barbara Halloran and her husband, John, of Berlin.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 11, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 at the Slattery Funeral Home, 40 Pleasant St., Marlborough. Burial will be held Thursday, July 12, at 10:00 a.m., at the National Cemetery in Bourne.
