Northborough – Neddy Seide, 64, of Northborough, died Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012 in UMass Memorial Healthcare (University Campus) in Worcester, after a brief illness.

He leaves his wife, Jeanne R. Thimothe of Northborough; seven children, Fritz, Alex, Steve, Nadege, Natasha, Nadia, and Neddy Jr.; three step-children Marie, Kathleen, and Stephanie; two brothers, Jean Robert, Edrec; two sisters, Rose, Neilla; 11 grandchildren, Sara, Eric, Matthew, Sierra, Arianna, Branden, Tristan, Enysia, Prince, Nia, and Gregory Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in Cap Haitien, he was the son of Batraumon and Marguerite (Rodriguez) Seide, and graduated from high school and college/university in Haiti. He immigrated to New York in 1973. Neddy lived in Spring Valley, N.Y., before moving to Northborough.

He was an employee of Chromalloy Co. in New York.

His hobbies included music, both listening to and playing the organ, dancing, watching TV shows, politics, and playing soccer, and he loved going to church.

Calling hours are Friday, Sept. 14, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. (Route 20), Northborough. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Sept. 15, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Bernadette Church, 266 Main St. (Route 20), Northborough. Burial will be in Northborough Cemetery on Howard Street.
