Gathered at the golf open are (l to r) Chris Colabello, currently of the Double-A New Britain Rock Cats, who was Montalbano's teammate when they played with the Worcester Tornadoes; Rich Gedman, a former Major League Baseball catcher, who coached Montalbano when he played with the Tornadoes; Kevin Beaupre and Douglas Fellows. They were among the foursomes testing their skill with a pitching machine stationed at a tent on the golf course.
Ready to golf is the foursome including (l to r) former National Football League player Phil Vandersea, currently of Shrewsbury, along with Jeff Allard, Bradford Clay and Don Shugrue.
