Northborough woman arrested after MVA

Westborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this morning: On 9/26/12, at approximately 7:03 PM, the Westborough Police Department received a call reporting a motor vehicle accident on Mill Rd. The arriving units located a 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck with extensive damage. The operator of the truck was identified as Donna Poulin, age 46 of 85 Howard St. Northborough. She was examined at the scene by Paramedics from the Westborough Fire Department but refused treatment.

The investigation by Officer Chris Atchue revealed that Poulin's vehicle left the roadway, traveled across the lawn at 30 Mill Rd. and struck a 97 Nissan which was parked in the driveway of this residence. Poulin then re-entered Mill Rd. coming to rest near 28 Mill Rd.

Poulin was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcoholic beverages, speeding and failure to keep within marked lanes.
