Thanks to Northborough, Southborough for iPads

Thanks to Northborough, Southborough for iPads Algonquin Regional High School has a reputation for being a top-notch high school that offers its students challenging courses as well as a myriad of elective courses.? The wide variety of elective courses offer students an opportunity to experience a well-rounded education as well as prepare them for life after high school. Thanks to a supportive administration, teachers are encouraged and supported when they have an idea for a new course. However, purchasing new equipment for new courses is not always possible in times when budgets are tight.

I feel very fortunate to live and teach in a community where education is also supported by local educational foundations, organizations and local businesses. Over the past few months the generosity of the Northborough Southborough community has allowed me to create a new elective called Senior Survival and to purchase the technology necessary to implement the curriculum.? The cost for 19 iPads and a cart were $10,700.

Thanks to the following community members the new Senior Survival course will have iPads for students to use as part of the new course: Southborough Education Foundation; Northborough Rotary Club; St. Mary's Credit Union; Avidia Bank; Digital Credit Union; Central One Federal Credit Union and Marlborough Savings Bank.

Sincerely,
