Westborough police arrest Shirley man for check forgery

Westborough – Police Chief Alan Gordon released this statement this afternoon:

On 10/26/12, at 11:50 A.M., the Westborough Police Department responded to Avidia Bank at 100 E. Main St. for a male subject who was attempting to cash a stolen check. The arriving units identified the male suspect as Kyle Piso, age 21 of 198 Ayer Rd. Shirley. He was still at the bank when the Officers arrived.

Officers were able to contact the Boxborough company where the check was from. They confirmed that they had not issued a check to Piso. Piso was placed under arrest by Officers Tyson Delong, Michael Daniels and LeeAnne Baker.

He was charged with uttering a false check and forgery and attempted larceny over $250.
