Salisbury Singers to open 39th season with “Bach to Bach”Worcester – Salisbury Singers, a critically-acclaimed chorus serving Central Massachusetts, will present “Back to Bach” Saturday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster St. This exciting concert will highlight the Baroque era, featuring the extraordinary music of J.S. Bach. Works will include Cantata 71 God is My King, along with the Magnificat in D, with its superb mixture of intense organization, great lyrical beauty and an opening chorus that is one of the most breathtaking in all of Baroque music. The Salisbury Singers will be accompanied by the Bach Consort of Worcester.

Soloists include Jean Danton, soprano, Carrie Cheron, mezzo-soprano, Jason McStoots, tenor, and Thomas Jones, baritone. The Singers are directed by Dr. Michelle Graveline. Assistant conductor Joshua Rohde will also take the podium for a portion of the concert.
