Victor P. Tessari, 86Northborough – Victor P. Tessari, 86, of Northborough died peacefully Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 in Marlboro Hills Healthcare Center.

He leaves his devoted wife of 64 years, Olga (Morigi) Tessari; four daughters, Linda Griffin of Franklin, Eileen Cash of Pembroke, Donna Tessari of Hyde Park and Chris Gagnon of Lancaster; three sons, Victor Tessari of Gardiner, Maine, Gerry Tessari of Maynard and James Tessari; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Frederick Tessari of FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Eugenio Tessari, and a sister, Rose Cedrone.

Born in Cafello d”Altivole (Treviso), Italy, son of Federico and Anna (Montin) Tessari, he lived in Roxbury, 25 years in Dorchester, and in Northborough from 1977 to 2012. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran who served his country during WW II.

Mr. Tessari was employed at RCA in the computer division in Needham. He later worked for Digital Equipment Corp. as an electrical engineer, retiring in 1991.

He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish. His hobbies included photography, making 8mm family films and his vegetable garden.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Nov. 13, from 5 to 8 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. (Route 20), Northborough. His funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov. 14, at 10 a.m., in St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 West Main St. A private burial will take place in Howard Street Cemetery.
