Shrewsbury fifth-graders win state championship

Shrewsbury – The fifth-grade Shrewsbury Patriots won the state championship game Sunday, Nov. 11 with a 21-7 victory over Natick in Leominster. The team, which is part of the Shrewsbury American Youth Football and Cheer Organization, is coached by Clint Mills.

The team will next face the Connecticut champions in a Regional match-up at the Waterbury Municipal Stadium, Waterbury, Conn. this Sunday, Nov. 18.
