Hudson – Registered Democrats in Hudson will be holding a caucus at the Hudson Fire Department Headquarters, 296 Cox St., Saturday, Feb. 9, at 1:15 p.m. to elect nine delegates and three alternates to the 2013 Massachusetts Democratic Convention.

Delegates will be divided equally between men and women.

Delegates to the 2013 Massachusetts Democratic Party Convention will vote on the Party Platform. The convention will be held Saturday, June 1, at the Tsongas Center at UMass-Lowell. Those not elected as delegate and/or alternate, who meet the qualifications, may apply to be “add-on” delegates in the following categories: youth, minority and disabled.

Immediately following the State Convention, a Youth Convention specifically for high school students will be held. High school students who are interested in the Youth Convention are encouraged to attend the caucus to learn more about it, although it is not a part of the application process.
