Northborough/Waltham – Arthur F. Bryant, 89, formerly of Waltham, died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013 at Blaire House of Worcester. Arthur is predeceased by his wife, Katherine L. (Kelley) Bryant, who died in 1992.
He leaves behind his four daughters, Gail Peterson and her husband Don of E. Falmouth, Susan Lemish and her husband Michael of Westborough, Jill Hayward and her husband Joe of Marlborough, and Roberta Bryant of Milford, and four grandchildren, Kelley and Alison Hayward, Ryan Lemish, and Robby Nolan.
Arthur was born and raised in Needham, son of the late Clifford H. and Mary L. (Garballey) Bryant, and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a firefighter for the city of Waltham, retiring in 1977. He enjoyed landscaping and gardening.
A calling hour will be held Saturday, Jan. 19, from 10 to 11 a.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St. (Route 20), Northborough A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., with burial in Lakeview Cemetery of Upton.
