Marlborough – Cherylene J. (Coulter) Jodrey, 67, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at her home. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Jodrey, who died in 1990. She was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the John and Edith (Cummings) Coulter, and lived there all of her life.

Mrs. Jodrey worked in many different jobs, including working as a waitress in many different restaurants in the area. She was a member of the Southborough Community Church.

The greatest joy in her life was her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Jodrey Jr. of Marlborough and David Jodrey of Waltham, Maine; one daughter, Wendy Hinckley of Marlborough; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a longtime boyfriend, Les Babbitt of Worcester. She was predeceased by a grandson, Edward Doherty.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, March 12, at 11:00 a.m., in the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St., Marlborough. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held Tuesday morning, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., prior to the service.
