Sports radio host Mike Adams to be “roasted”

Marlborough – Long-time television personality and current WEEI Sports Radio host Mike “Mikey” Adams will take the hot seat as this year's “Roastee” at the Employment Options celebrity roast.

The annual event will take place at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel in Marlborough, Thursday, May 16, starting at 6 p.m.

The agency said the head table of “Roasters” will be announced soon, but the first confirmed is Bill “The Spaceman” Lee, a former Boston Red Sox pitcher. Lee, known for his witty and hilarious comments, will be the first of many celebrities to roast Adams, honoring his long career in broadcasting.

The master of ceremonies for the event will be veteran TV reporter/anchor Eileen Curran. Sponsors for the event include Bob's Discount Furniture and Marlborough Savings Bank.
