Northborough – The Marlborough Savings Charitable Foundation recently awarded the Proctor Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) a $500 grant for its learning enhancement programs and handicap accessible initiatives. The PTO is dedicated to providing opportunities and experiences that supplement the education provided by the teachers and staff at the Proctor School.

“With budget shortfalls and increasing expenses, we understand the challenges our local schools face and are thrilled to be able to help,” Ellen W. Dorian, secretary of the Marlborough Savings Charitable Foundation, said.

Marlborough Savings Charitable Foundation was formed to further community development in the communities served by Marlborough Savings Bank and to support community organizations that contribute to the quality of life in the bank's communities.
