Ready to play ball for the 60th year

So Ready to play ball for 60th year webSouthborough – Players of the team sponsored by Marlborough Savings Bank, (l to r) George Kasparyan, 7, Jeff Dratch, 7, and Michael Dougherty, 6, sing the National Anthem during Opening Day of Southborough Youth Baseball and Softball, held April 28 at Mooney Fields and Mary Finn Elementary School. Over 300 players, ages 5 to 15, on 29 teams participated. The 60th-anniversary celebration began with a parade led by 15 players of the Southborough Little League original teams in 1953. Festivities continued with a barbecue, carnival, silent auction and games.
