Fitchburg – James H. Nash, 77, a current resident of Fitchburg, formerly of Hudson, Woburn, Berlin, and Illinois, died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Sterling Village Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

James was born in Marlborough, son of the late John and Edna Mae (Fournier) Nash. He was raised in Hudson, where he attended local schools and was a graduate of Hudson High School.

He worked as a Mechanical Engineer for many years locally for the Raytheon Co. and Honeywell Co. and later for the Recon Optical Co. in Illinois.

He is survived by his children, Melody Nash of Boston, Matthew Nash and his wife Stine of Norway, and Michael Nash of Cary, IL. He is also survived by his three sisters, Edna Maddocks of Hudson, Dorothy Cormier of Fitchburg, and Jane Philbin of Leominster, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late John and Patrick Nash and Mary Crowell.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 18, at 11:00 a.m., in Saint Michael's Cemetery of Hudson. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home of Hudson.
