Westborough – The “Justice League” of the Corridor Nine Area Chamber of Commerce gathered May 15 for the chamber's Ultimate Networking and Oscar Awards Breakfast at the Doubletree Hotel.? Corridor Nine celebrated its members outstanding achievements and service to the chamber and participated in some networking fun with its Superhero-themed breakfast that featured a “Tights & Trivia” game and a “Superhero Showdown.”

As members arrived for the breakfast, they were greeted by Justice League members “Batman,” “Superman,” “Wonder Woman,” “Bat Girl,” “Green Hornet,” and “Thor.”

Awards were presented to the following members:? Eli Whitney Business of the Year Award:? Arturo's Ristorante; Chairman's Award: Denise Kapulka, Knight's Airport Limousine Service; President's Award: HYPE9 Co-Chairs: Michelle Barnett, PENTA Communications, and Lynn Stromberg, Cyprian Keyes Golf Club; and Ambassador of the Year: Jim Ames of Avidia Bank.

The breakfast was sponsored by UniBank, Avidia Bank, Central One Federal Credit Union, Middlesex Savings Bank, Fallon Community Health Plan, and PENTA Communications.? During the program, the board of directors and committee chairs for 2013-14 were introduced.? Steve Anderson of UniBank was inducted as the new chairman of the board of directors. (Photos/submitted)
