Local students receive scholarships for environmental studies

Southborough-icon-for-CA-web-pageSouthborough-The Southborough Gardeners are pleased to announce that Marc Doherty and Chloe Herczeg are each recipients of $1000 scholarships for 2013. Marc is currently an environmental studies major with a specialization in hydrology at the University of Colorado in Boulder. His goal is to discover new ways to preserve and conserve the environment. Chloe will graduate from Algonquin Regional High School in June and attend Santa Clara University. She plans to double major in environmental science and bimolecular engineering. She intends to dedicate her studies to finding alternative energies that can help improve and sustain the environment.
