Science awards, exhibit at Marlborough High School

Marlborough-icon-for-CA-web-pageMarlborough – The second annual Marlborough High School “STEMMY” awards presentation will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, in the school's Little Theater, 431 Bolton St.

Marlborough's Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Early College High School faculty will honor this year's achievements of the ninth- and 10th- grade STEM students. The event will include student speakers, awards and recognitions, an end-of-year slide show, and an ice cream social.

In addition, there will also be an exhibit of student work. An integral component of the STEM curriculum is having students work in collaborative teams to complete independent research.?The students will exhibit their research projects at an open house from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Marlborough High School field house. The public is invited to attend both the awards presentation and exhibit.
