Hudson – Betty A. (Supernault) Veo, 67, of Hudson, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Paul M. Veo of Hudson.
Betty was born in St. Albans, Vt., daughter of the late William and Marion (Willey) Supernault. She moved to Hudson at the age of 10 and attended local schools, and was a 1963 graduate of Hudson High School. She was employed for many years by the Digital Equipment Corp. and later Intel as a Publications Specialist until her retirement in 2005.
Betty had many interests in her spare time, including playing cards, reading, and always enjoyed a good movie at the theatres. She looked forward to spending the winter months in Florida, and always enjoyed the many vacation trips she shared with her family and friends.
Betty truly cherished the time she spent with her family, especially with her two daughters and two grandchildren. Her loving spirit and kindness will be remembered by all who knew her.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Sherry Lawson and her husband Mark of Clinton and Lisa Veo-Perry and her husband Chad of Hudson. She is also survived by her two loving grandchildren, Jessica Lawson of Clinton and Michelle Perry of Hudson; her two sisters, Nancy Courtemanche of Marlborough and Hazel Dixon of Danville, Va.; her four brothers, Donald Supernault of Danville, Va., Harold Constantine of Sterling, and Thomas Constantine and Richard Constantine, both of Hudson; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lillian Supernault, Brenda Graham, and Raymond and William Supernault.
A funeral service and celebration of Betty's life will be held Saturday, June 15, at 11 a.m., in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson. Calling hours will be held Friday, June 14, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
