The Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School softball team poses with their first-ever state title trophy.
Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School's Madison Parmeter winds up to deliver a pitch.  Parmeter pitched the entire game, giving up two runs on five hits.
The Assabet Valley Aztecs are Division 3 softball state champions.
The five seniors, Nicole Cormier (Berlin), Morgan Parmeter (Maynard), Brenna Boucher (Westborough), Rebecca Cordeiro (Boylston), and Brittany Lutz (Marlborough), will leave Assabet Valley as state champs.
