Marlborough Thunder win softball tournament

Region – The Marlborough Thunder, a 12-and-under softball team with members from Hudson, Marlborough, Northborough, Southborough and Westborough, won a 10-team tournament in Hopedale over the Father's Day weekend, June 15-16. The team rallied from a 5-0 deficit to defeat the Central Mass. Voodoo in the championship game 10-7.

The Marlborough Thunder, with additional teams in the 14-and-under and 16-and-under age categories, is holding tryouts in August. For more information, email marlboroughthunder@yahoo.com or visit www.eteamz.com/marlboroughthunder.
