Update – Harry's has now re-opened for business.

Westborough – A small kitchen fire this morning has temporarily closed Harry's Restaurant, located at 149 Turnpike Rd. (Rt. 9.)

According to officials, the fire itself was contained in the kitchen although there was some smoke damage in the rest of the building. Crews could be seen late morning cleaning up in the aftermath. A small sign was posted on the door noting the restaurant was “closed for repairs.” There is no word yet when Harry's will re-open.

The iconic restaurant has been owned by the Cohen family since 1946.
